Privacy Policy — Signature Scanner

Signature Scanner ("the App") is developed and operated by Furkan Kaya ("we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Your Documents Stay on Your Device

Signature Scanner is designed to work fully on-device. Every operation — viewing PDFs, drawing and storing signatures, signing, scanning, converting, splitting, merging, watermarking, and text recognition (OCR) — is performed locally on your iPhone.

• No Server Uploads: We do NOT upload, store, or transmit your documents, signatures, photos, or extracted text to any server.

• Complete User Control: Your files never leave your device unless you explicitly share or export them using the iOS share sheet.

• Local Storage: Saved signatures and documents are stored only in the App's private storage on your device and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the App.

2. Information We Collect

We do not require an account, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or contacts.

The App may collect limited, anonymous usage and diagnostic data (for example: which features are used, session length, device model, iOS version, and crash reports) through Apple and analytics providers. This data cannot be used to identify you and is used solely to improve the App's stability and features.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Signature Scanner offers an auto-renewing subscription with a free trial. All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase records are managed by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Permissions

• Camera: Used only when you scan a paper document or take a photo for OCR.

• Photo Library: Used only when you choose images to convert into a PDF, or when you save converted pages back to your library.

Note: These permissions are optional; the related features simply remain unavailable if access is not granted. Media accessed through these permissions is processed on-device only.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.

6. Data Security

Because your content never leaves your device, the primary safeguard is your device itself. We recommend keeping your device protected with a passcode and an up-to-date iOS version.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date within the App.
